Thermal Paints: New Era in Energy Efficiency

Just sheathing is not enough. Reduce your building's energy bill with technological paints that reflect heat.

Thermal Paints: New Era in Energy Efficiency

When thermal insulation is mentioned, traditional sheathing (EPS/XPS) comes to mind. But technology has evolved; now the paint layer is also an active part of insulation. Ceramic sphere technology developed by NASA for space shuttles comes to life in Renga Plus Thermo-Shield series.

/How Does It Work? Traditional insulation materials slow down heat conduction (R value). Thermal paints **reflect** heat (SRI - Solar Reflectance Index). Vacuum micro-ceramic spheres inside reflect 80% of the radiant heat from the sun back, preventing the building from heating up.

/Advantages - **Coolness in Summer:** Lowers exterior surface temperature by 10-15°C, provides up to 40% savings in air conditioning costs indoors. - **Warmth in Winter:** When used indoors, it reflects radiator heat back into the room by preventing internal heat from escaping through walls. - **Moisture Control:** Breaks thermal bridges by preventing condensation (sweating).

Thermal paints are an excellent complement that increases the performance and extends the life of sheathing, although they do not completely replace it.
